Description

Jay McClelland and David E. Rumelhart founded the Parallel Distributed Processing (PDP) research group in California, leading to the publication Parallel Distributed Processing (1986) in which the parallel distributed processing framework was laid out and applied to a wide range of topics in cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience.

Crick took part in the group and attended Parallel Processing Seminars (PPS).
