Certified (by A Warden, Assistant Secretary, Wellcome Foundation Ltd) as a true copy of an original document "reported to have been destroyed in the fire at Snow Hill Buildings, 10/11th May 1941" - authorising Mr E Thompson as a Burroughs Wellcome & Co signatory. Original lost document dated 23 October, 1939.
19 November, 1941. Mr Edwin Thompson and Mr John Alexander Leslie are "hereby authorised to sign RAF Contractors' Bills, Form 666, for the RAF Hospital at Wroughton...." Signed by A Warden.
