About this work

Description

Tratamiento del Colera Morbus. [Possibly produced in Amozoc de Mota, Puebla, Mexico.] A contemporary copy of the broadside by G. Escayola, Tratamiento del colera-morbus en Campeche, Campeche, J.J. Corrales, 1833 [see Guerra (Icon.) 761], a copy of which is in the Wellcome Institute Library. It describes the symptoms of cholera, methods of treatment, and tabulates 4 receipts at the end. In the same hand and from the same collection of remedies as WMSS. Amer. 47, 48 and 54 with which it was originally bound; and possibly associated with one leaf of WMS/Amer.15. Perhaps from the remedy book of an hacienda.
