About this work

Description

The deliberations of the first meeting of the 'neonatal group' were written into the minute book, with typescript agenda attached, but for the next thirteen years, minutes of all meetings were typed and then attached, without agendas. Surviving earlier agendas and abstracts of papers presented can be found in the meetings files.

From 1973, separate post-bound volumes were used for minutes of committee meetings and general and scientific meetings. At first, these were well kept, typed straight onto the pages to be bound, and including agendas and programmes, and, for the first time, abstracts of the papers presented, but from June 1975, minutes were again typed separately and attached, in some instances becoming very discoloured.

AGM minutes are accompanied by the reports of the secretary and treasurer, including statements of account. Minutes are usually signed.
