About this work

Description

Crick was awarded the Trotter Prize for 'issues involving Information, Complexity, and Inference', and invited to present a public and a departmental colloquium on his research. He declined the invitation on health grounds, but recorded a video talk to be broadcast in his stead [on 26 October 2001. The talk drew largely on the chapter 'Dr Crick's Sunday Morning Service' in his book The Astonishing Hypothesis: The Scientific Search for the Soul (1994). The file includes drafts of his text.
