Note of excambion between certain heritors and the Kirk Session of sittings in St Michaels Church lofts, in order to make provision for the organ and choir, listing the pew number and the size of space being surrendered or acquired. In addition to the Crichton Royal Institution, Akers Douglas Esq, Town Council, Lochbank, Ellengowan, Keltonhead, Netherwood, Ladyfield and Hannahfield are listed.
