Biographical note

George Fraser had been a coworker in Oxford with J. H. Edwards in the Medical Research Council Population Genetics Unit of A. C. Stevenson, c.1960. They also worked together in Oxford 1984-1997. Fraser first met J. Gayon in Mexico in 1994.
