Correspondence relating to research projects and asking the Patients Association for information, published reports or advice in connection with them, and occasionally for funding.

Letters mainly from medical schools, universities and hospitals. Where they were able to the Patients Association always responded, often in considerable detail, despite the pressure of general correspondence with patients.
