The names in this register can also be found in the other three Registers of Lunatics for Crichton Royal Institution, DGH1/5/2/1, DGH1/5/2/2 and DGH1/5/2/4 for the dates covered, but this volume only contains some of the names found in the other three voumes. Only 23 pages of this volume have been filled in. There are not many dates of discharge, removal or death recorded and those that are mostly date from 1883 to 1885.
