"An investigation into the causes of prematurity with special reference to maternal work". This survey arose from the findings of the Fatigue survey (L.2) and was conducted by a steering committee of the Technical Advisory Committee. The chairman of the steering committee was Josephine Barnes and the Director of Research was Dr FW Martin
