Description

A painting in Rita Simon's Traditional Massive style, depicting a ship at sea. The artwork was produced by a tuberculosis patient in London in the 1940s. Rita Simon stated that they had, "a good positive response to art therapy ".

The title has been taken from notes made during conversations between Rita Simon and Wellcome staff between 1995 and 1997.
