About this work

Description

Miscellaneous case-notes and receipts for consultations during the period 1750-63. The extent of individual items ranges from fragments to more formal descriptions of illnesses, some probably for publication. There are two accounts of Whytt's own sufferings in 1750 and 1761; a further manuscript extracts advice given by Dr. William Grant (d. 1786).
