Presented to the Wellcome Institute Library by the Royal College of General Practitioners, October 1997. Originally donated to the Royal College by Dr. L. Dulake, Reigate.
Biographical note
Alfred King served, according to item no.8 and to his entry in the Medical Directory, in the Peninsular War, but not, according to directories of military medics, as a commissioned medical officer. He practised subsequently in Brighton and in Balham, South London. These papers relate to courses followed and qualifications acquired later in his career.
