Describes visits to institutions and laboratories in the USA with Florey and Heatley's work at the US Department of Agriculture's Northern Regional Research Laboratory in Peoria, Illinois, where his assigned collaborator was A J Moyer. Heatley worked there 14 Jul-30 Nov 1941.

Both copies contain annotations including underlining and marginalia not present in PP/NHE/C/1/4/3.
