Description

Reply to 'Sir' who two years earlier had enquired about a poisonous tree, which was found on the Island Celebes. Sketches are enclosed and the tree described as Thare Africana Floribus Albisodoriferis fructubriis purpureis. It is called Kattee by local people and they daub arrows with the juice of the leaves and fruit.
