Lotion for Removing* Sun Freckles from the Face and other Parts of the Person, also for Removing* and Curing* Scorbutic Affections of the Skin, and for other Purposes. Mary Perceval Boate Popes Hill House, Cork, Ireland Gentlewoman do hereby declare the nature of her invention to be as follows :— Proportional parts of Sulphurous acid. Carbolic acid. Rose water. Honey. Pure water. Dated this 16th day of October 1888. MARY PERCEVAL BOATE. COMPLETE SPECIFICATION. Lotion for Removing* Sun Freckles from the Face and other Parts of the Person, also for Removing* and Curing* Scorbutic Affections of the Skin, and for other Purposes. 15 Mary Perceval Boate Popes Hill House Cork Ireland of no occupation or calling do hereby declare the nature of this invention and in what manner the same is to be performed, to be particularly described and ascertained in and by the following statement :— In producing the above lotion I use the following ingredients and in the proportions 20 named in the following formula viz. 25 Sulphurous acid Carbolic acid Distilled water Rose water - Honey - 2 oz. - 10 minims. - 6 oz. - 2 oz. - 20 minims. I compound them well together and apply them as a lotion to the parts affected by means of a sponge, a piece of linen, calico, or other suitable medium. Having now particularly described and ascertained the nature of my said Inven¬ tion and in what manner the same is to be performed I declare that what I 30 claim is 1. The Antiseptic properties. 2. The Disinfectant do. 3. The Emollient do. of the said lotion produced by the combination of the aforesaid ingredients. 35 Dated this 17th day of July 1889. MARY PERCEVAL BOATE.
