Description

Five notebooks recording Valentine's study of the infant psyche, where he followed a number of infants from birth to age three, conducting experiments and recording their reactions to various stimuli. An example of an early experiment monitors a baby's reaction to sound, and is titled "when will a watch ticking cause [the baby] to stop nursing".
