About this work

Description

A 'rough' notebook kept by Dorothy Tasker, a 16 year old lab assistant at the Wellcome Physiological Research Labs. Many of the notes are in pencil. As she was using the book to make notes on her work, but also in general as a way to remember things in her day, it includes a number of details of life at the lab. : including notes from talks given by senior staff, and a list of who worked there and their responsibilities. There are some notes on Morse Code; Tasker left the lab to join the RAF.
