Biographical note
The FPA Bookcentre Action Group was set up following the FPA Honorary Officers' meeting in July 1987 which considered the position of the Bookcentre in the light of the FPA's financial problems and the possible closure of the bookshop if there was not some sign of improvement by the end of the year.
The Group consisted of the FPA chair, the Bookcentre manager, the FPA Publications Officer and representatives from the Education Unit and Press Department.
