Description
The FPA appointed a Working Party in 1960 'to review the aims and objects , constitution, organisation and services of the Association, to consider how these might be brought further into line with present requirements, and to make recommendations to the National Executive'. AWD was invited to join the Working Party in 1959, which was chaired by François Lafitte, Professor of Social Policy and Administration, Birmingham University. It began its enquiry in March 1960.
