[Begins:] La Junta principal de Caridad establecida para el socorro de tantos y tan miserables enfermos, victimas de las Viruelas, ha tomado varias providencias para su socorro [&c.]. Produced in Mexico. Dated 6 November 1797. Headed 'Pidiendo limosna á sugetos pudientes - y Comunidades', in another hand. Copy of a circular announcing the division of the City into sub-districts (manzanas) and the formation of district boards of charity (Sociedades parciales de Caridad), and calling for contributions to meet the growing need.
