Description
Correspondence formerly held in the Western Manuscripts Department's Autograph Letters Sequence relating to Sir John Franklin, his first wife the poetess Eleanor Franklin née Porden (1797?-1825) and his second wife Jane, Lady Franklin, née Griffin (1792-1875), organiser of attempts to locate the disappeared final Franklin expedition.
