Description

Letters and decrees of the Conseil de Santé of Bern, mainly concerning the establishment of a Collège de Médecine at Lausanne and instructions for the College on the examination and regulation of surgeons, apothecaries and midwives. Also included are regulations for a school for midwives at Lausanne. The College was under the Vice-Presidency of Samuel Auguste André David Tissot (1728-1797), until succeeded by Verdeil in 1797.
