Description

Reproduction of the title page from Tschirch, Alexander (1856-1939): Chinarinden und Cinchona Wien und Leipzig : Urban & Schwarzenberg, 1887. The title page was possibly reproduced as part of the printed books lent by Professor A. Tschirch of the Pharmaceutical Institute of the University of Berne, and exhibited in Malaria section of the international celebration and exhibition : three hundredth anniversary of the first recognized use of cinchona by Europeans, 1630-1930 hosted by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1930. The publication is listed as "Cinchona Bark and Cinchona" exhibit no. 482 in the souvenir catalogue.
