Correspondence charts attempts to find a suitable community for the study, plans for the study, and subsequent arrangements in Beijing. Also includes the WHO report, "Technical Visit on Virus Diseases People's Republic of China: 20 Aug - 3 Sep 1979" (1980), and applications for financial support for the study.
