Description

Cases include sudden deaths from a variety of natural causes, accidents (including medical accidents, especially anaesthesia-related), suicide, and criminal abortion, also suspicious deaths of infants, as well as cases of murder and manslaughter. Among the cases of particular interest: murder, strangulation by ligature 14 Oct 1941; murder, stab wound of head, partial strangulation, fractures of lower jaw, 19 Oct 1941; lift accident, asphyxiation due to compression of chest, 25 Oct 1941; septicaemia consequent upon abortion, 4 Nov 1941
