About this work

Description

Notebook containing notes by Ware on disorders of the eyelids, the lachrymal canals, the conjunctiva and cornea, written in Gurney shorthand. The notes, apparently for lectures, make use of Ware's Remarks on the ophthalmy ..., published in 1780, but were probably written before the second edition, published in 1787. The number 3, written in pencil of f. 1r. suggests that this is the third of a series of notebooks.
