Description

Photograph of two pairs of snow goggles on display with the captions "Eskimo type - used by Scott [Sir Robert Falcon Scott (1868-1912)] on the Discovery Expedition" and "Goggles made for a near sighted person - tinted glass is pasted on top of the lens". The items were previously on display in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum but are not held by Wellcome Collection.
