Description

File consists of audio cassette tapes of the seminar together with two tapes from the 1971 Edinburgh Medical Group Conference. There were no digital material or DVD's from this seminar.

The seminar tape cassettes are two Maxell UR120 audio cassette tapes (two master tapes) used to record the seminar on "Medical Ethics Education in Britain, 1963-1993", which was held at the Wellcome Trust Centre for the History of Medicine at UCL, on 9 May 2006. The seminar was part of the Wellcome Witnesses to Twentieth Century Medicine meetings also known as the Witness Seminars. The transcript of this seminar was published as Volume 31 of the Witness Seminar series, L.A. Reynolds and E.M. Tansey (editors), Medical Ethics Education in Britain, 1963-1993, (London: Wellcome Trust, 2007).

The seminar cassette tapes are marked as follows:

The 1971 tapes are BASF 7 inch audio tracks on a reel (doppelspielband DP26), provided by Professor Kenneth Boyd. They are audio tape recordings of the 1971 Edinburgh Medical Group conference.
