About this work
Description
This file contains letters and newspaper cuttings reporting on the situation at the end of World War II and immediately afterwards. Many of the letters are from friends and former colleagues in Berlin, with whom contact had not been possible during the war. There is a piece by Benno Reifenberg, a half-Jewish journalist who survived at the Vogts' institute at Neustadt. There are also papers relating to efforts to bring a Polish doctor to England.
