    testimonials IN FAVOUR OF PAT. JAMIESON, A.M, L.R.C.S.E., AND LICENTIATE IN MIDWIFERY, EDINBURGH, A CANDIDATE FOR THE CHAIR OF MIDWIFERY, ABERDEEN UNIVERSITY. Peterhead, 30th March, 1875. I CERTIFY that I have been intimately acquainted with Dr JAMIESON during the whole period he has been in practice in Peterhead, and have had ample opportunities of observing his scientific and practical attainments in the Obstetric branch of his profession. He has had a very extensive practice in Midwifery, and the Diseases of Women and Children. I have frequently had the benefit of his advice in my own practice, and have co-operated with him in many difficult Obstetric cases. Valuable proofs of the soundness of his judgment and accuracy of his acquirements, derived from a large experi¬ ence and diligent study, have frequently come under my notice, and mani¬ fested themselves in his great success as an Accoucheur. His general information is extensive and varied; he is an instructive public speaker, and possesses much fluency and readiness in discourse. In my opinion Dr Jamieson is, in every respect, eminently qualified, by his professional talents and general knowledge, to prove a successful and zealous teacher of Midwifery. JOHN D.
