Acquisition note

Little is known of the provenance of these records or of Pringle's career. These papers were transferred to the Contemporary Medical Archives Centre from the Western Manuscripts section of the Wellcome Institute Library in October 1980. They appear to have been presented to the Library by the Museum in 1971.
