"A good many letters have been received testifying to the usefulness of our First Review Supplement [WF/WTRL/07], and expressing the hope that a Second might be forthcoming. After some hesitation it was decided to accede to these requests and, at the same time, slightly to widen the scope of the Second Review so that it might deal in a more general manner with Tropical Medicine as a whole and not merely, or mainly, with those diseases represented in the Anglo-Egyptian Sudan."
