Recording of several talks and scientific presentation from different individuals. All four tracks are on the first side of the reel and two tracks on the second side. Recorded at 3 3/4 ips, all mono tracks.

-Side A, track 1: 00:01:00: talk by Steve Abrams titled "Extra sensory behaviour" with questions. 00:24:00 Talk titled "The International Dictionary of Parapsychology" with questions. 00:49:00 Introduction to a symposium at Oxford University on the general subject of explanation in parapsychology. 01:09:00 Paper titled "An explanation of recognition". 01:19:20 Paper titled "Personal identity and parapsychology". 01:33:20 Paper titled "The explanation of ESP". 01:54:40 Paper titled "Memory and paranormal cognition". 02:13:30 Questions on previous talks. - Side A, track 4: Abrams in conversation with Peter Roberts and unnamed women, with people playing instruments in the background. Topics mentioned include: LSD and sleep, Zambia, Elephant and Castle, Dag Hammarskjöld, William Tubman and Jesus Christ. Much of the conversation is crude and includes swearing. At 00:43:00 cuts to a recording of stand up comedy with comments from participants followed by recordings of music broadcasts. At 01:32:00 cuts to various telephone conversations between Abrams and individual regarding arranging a research visit, discussing news and calling Gloucester Green bus station. From 01:54:30 it cuts to music broadcasts. (02:52:14)
