Description

The London Food Commissions correspondence with various London boroughs on a variety of issues, including trading standards, local borough food policy, catering contracts and services, public health, environmental health and controls, school meals, nutritional standards in catering services, catering and food supply for ethnic minority communities, food and anti-poverty promotion, enforcement of legislation, food composition and analysis.
Boroughs covered: London Borough of Camden, Ealing, Enfield, Greenwich, Hackney, Harringey, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Islington, Lambeth, Newham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest. Largest files are Camden and Southwark.
Note: this does not mean that there is no other correspondence with local boroughs the other files of this series, for example there is correspondence with the London Borough of Lewisham in Organisations L (A/25).
