Description
Photograph of three pharmacy jars. One is Dutch and is decorated with a peacock and basket of flowers device. Inscribed "A.CYANI". It was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1940 (accession number R891/1940). The other two are a pair decorated with flowers and foliage in deep blue on a lightground. They were purchased at auction by the Museum in 1925 and given accession number A34517. None of the jars are held by Wellcome Collection.
