Minutes of the monthly and annual general meetings of the Board of Direction and the Works, House, Plans and Farm Committees. Also included are abstract of accounts for 1903-1907; cost of maintenance at the various houses for year ended 31 October 1907; reports by the Treasurer on the enlargement and improvement of the premises of the Institution, 1903 and 1904; copy correspondence between the Secretary and Treasurer, Crichton Royal Institution and the General Board of Lunacy as to Smallpox Hospital at Calside, Dumfries, December 1903 to January 1904; report by Captain Walker on the replanting of woods and plantations on Friars Carse Estate, 24 January 1906; report by the House Steward on condition of the stores premises and work of the Stores Department, August 1907. A note on the inside cover written by Dr C. C. Easterbrook states, 'The minutes in this volume are almost complete and frequently in duplicate.'
