Biographical note
The first meeting of the Incorporators and Trustees of the IEA, Inc. was held on 8 September, 1967 at which the Officers and Trustees of the Corporation were appointed.
The Officers were Dr. Lester Breslow, President; Dr. John Pemberton, Vice-President; Dr. Roy M. Acheson, Secretary; Dr. Kerr L. White, Treasurer; Dr. Walter Holland, Editor-in-Chief of the Bulletin.
In addition, the following persons were elected to serve as Trustees: Dr. Richard Doll; Dr. Charles Fletcher; Dr. Robert Cruikshank; Dr. Harold Willard; Dr. Alexander Langmuir; Dr. Gunnar Biorck; Dr. Jan Kostrzewski; Dr. Adetokunbo O. Lucas; Dr. B. G. Prasad; Dr. Alexander Robertson.
