Framed replica of Wellcome Gold Medal

One framed yellow metal medal with yellow metal information-block conveying the inscription on medal reverse:

"To / Frederick B Power PhD LLD / in recognition of his distinguished services / to science during 18½ years as / Director of the Wellcome Chemical Research Laboratories / London / Presented by the Founder / Henry S Wellcome / 1914"

Although dated 1914, when Power retired from the Wellcome Chemical Research Laboratories, the medal was not presented until 1921 (see WF/E/07/04/04-08).
