Press Cuttings, 1968

A number of clippings from local, national and international press regarding the production on a commercial scale of synthetic Emetine by the Wellcome Foundation, the release of the first full annual report of the Wellcome Foundation and sales figures for the year ending August 31st 1967 (£50, 508, 163), the formation of Carlsberg-Wellcome Sàrl by the Wellcome Foundation and the Carlsberg Foundation - the purpose of which is to acquire a 50% holding in Italy's Sclavo (Istituto Sieroterapico e Vaccinogeno Toscano) - a vaccine manufacturer, and the combination of Wellcome Foundation research and development activities in a new structure.
