Male and female figures with annotations (artwork)

A painting in Rita Simon's Traditional Linear style, depicting a female figure inside a cracked eggshell, a female figure coming through a door and a man in the foreground. The work is extensively annotated with descriptive comments. It was produced by a young female patient at a psychiatric day hospital who was part of a group undergoing psychotherapy.

The title has been supplied by the cataloguer for identification purposes.

The date and information about the patient have been taken from notes made during conversations between Rita Simon and Wellcome staff between 1995 and 1997.
