Material comprises: 1) Newspaper cuttings: one about the appointment of an Artist in Residence from Dumfries and Galloway Standard, 1 April 1997; and one about a kite flying day staged by Rachel Mimiec, 1 August 1997. 2) An information sheet about the exhibition, 'Work in Progress', held at Crichton Royal Museum, displaying the work done by Rachel Mimiec in the first six months of her residency 3) List of names of those who created artwork featured in the 'Work in Progress' exhibition 4) Information sheet about a paper sculpture, 'Flyte', made by Rachel Mimiec and suspended in the Crichton Hall Rotunda 5) 'Kite Flying at the Crichton', VHS tape, 25th July 1997 6) A card advertising an exhibition of work by Rachel Mimiec held at Gracefield Arts Centre, Dumfries as part of Mental Health Week from 1 to 29 November 1997.
