Each card includes hospital number, name, address, age, sex, fee paid, plus brief details of condition and treatment, including whether or not they were admitted to hospital.

Arrangement
The cards were found tied into bundles. It is unclear whether this was done by Williams himself, or if it was done by the Wellcome Tropical Institute Archivist. There was no clear order to the bundles, and there is internal evidence that they were once stored in a different order. However, the order they were found in has been maintained.
