Description

Colour photographs in an envelope labelled: 'Leicester children using Poleidoblocs. Photographs taken by Chief Inspector of Essex (Mr White) when he and Mrs Williams visited the school. 1961' (prints done 1962) plus two colour transparencies. There are duplicate sets of the photographs. All are of activity in the classroom but one set includes a photograph of two girls with blocs outside the school. One set has assessment comments written on the back, a note with names of children and the type of construction they have made, e.g. bungalow, train, church, rocket, etc., and black and white negatives of two of the images. The children are infants school age.
