Description
This material has been organised into four groups: papers of the Deutsch family the family of Melanie Klein's mother), papers of the Reizes family (MK's natal family); Klein family papers; literary papers and notes by Melanie Klein. This corresponds to the initial interim arrangement of the material by the CMAC, within which the sequence of items was still subject to some degree of disorder pending more detailed examination by a fluent reader of German. The letters are arranged by sender (or addressee) and then chronologically. Undated papers have been kept in their original place unless the content indicated a change was necessary.
