A New Mixture for Liver Complaints and Scorbutic)Eczema. James Taylor West Cowes Isle cl Wight Herbalist do hereby declare the nature of this invention to be as follows :— My invention consists in the production of a mixture by boiling and mixing in proportionate quantities the following herbs. 5 Barbary wood ; Vervine, Wood Vitny ; and Wood Sage. These herbs are each boiled separately and then the liquid obtained therefrom is mixed in proportionate quantities which produces an excellent remedy against all Liver complaints and Scorbutic Eczema. James Taylor Prospect Road West Cowes Isle of Wight, Herbalist, do hereby 15 declare the nature of this invention and in what manner the same is to be performed, to be particularly described and ascertained in and by the following statement:— My invention consists in the production of a mixture by boiling, and mixing in proportionate quantities the following herbs. Barberry Wood. 50 Vervain. Woodbetony. Woodsage ; which are botanically known as follows ; Barberry Wood 25 Vervain - Woodbetony Woodsage These herbs are each boiled separately and then the liquid obtained therefrom is mixed in proportional quantities viz.:— 30 25 per cent, of Barberry Wood. 25 ,. ,, ,, Vervain. 25 „ ,. „ Woodbetony. 25 „ „ „ Woodsage ; which makes an excellent remedy against all Liver Complaints and Scorbutic Eczema, $5 3 tablespoons full should be taken every alternate morning. Having now particularly described and ascertained the nature of my said invention and in what manner the same is to be performed, I declare that what L claim is :— (1). The mixture of the juice of the several herbs in proportionate quantities as 40 above described. Herberts V ulgaris. Verbena Officinalis. Betcnica Officinalis. Salvia Agrestis.
