About this work

Description

A series of short scenes made to give some guidance to study circles on acting and staging. The first incidents show acting of injuries ranging from distress to severe shock and include a woman with a nosebleed, a woman with a sprained ankle, a woman with an injured leg and a man crushed by a tractor wheel. This is followed by scenes showing how to stage an accident simulation including a bicycle accident and a man buried by debris from a collapsed building. The film was made by the Newcastle branch of Casualties Union in 1951 and distributed in 1952. The film has no title, the title given has been assigned by the cataloguer.
