Crick gave the keynote address at the Ninth Annual Spring Retreat (on 'Cognitive Neuroscience in the real World') of the McDonnell-Pew Center for Cognitive Neuroscience at San Diego, 9 May 1998.

The file includes Crick's manuscript notes for his address and his overhead projector slides. Also included is a list of attendees at the 1990 Spring Retreat.
