The Human Values in Healthcare Group

Founded in 1990 as the `L.L. Discussions' (from the Nazi idea of `lebensunwertes Leben'). Originally consisting of 13 doctors and medical scientists meeting for discussion and presentation of papers, the group grew and gained a more public face, changing its name at a special meeting in June 1991. At this meeting AMN became vice-chairman. Texts of the papers presented at the first six meetings were circulated to members. Five of these survive in AMN's papers, and are listed below (D.3/1-5).
