UK Renal Registry

Papers and correspondence, in chronological order, relating to the UK Renal Registry - a clinical database established by the Renal Association in 1995 to act as a source of comparative data for the development of patient care in renal disease. The papers include the original proposals to establish the Registry, funding, legal basis, governance, siting, appointment of staff, and development of data management systems and processes. Also contains report from a dedicated sub-committee of the Renal Association, Draft Business Plan from 1998, ongoing meeting minutes from the sub-committee, and correspondence concerning the management of and access to the Registry.
